American Red Cross Lifeguard Class 
September 12-October 7

If you're 15* or older and looking for a great job during school and summers, American Red Cross Lifeguarding is the best place to start. This course helps you develop skills and experience valued by colleges and future employers. You'll develop new skills and learn how to work effectively with people, fostering a proactive and adaptive attitude. You'll receive a participant's manual and tips for securing a life-guarding job. The new Lifeguarding course materials incorporate the most recent science applied to Lifeguarding skills, CPR for the Professional Rescuer and use of the Automated External Defibrillator as well as First Aid. *Prerequisites for taking class are swimming 300 meters of the pool non-stop and a 10 pound brick tow from the deep to shallow end.
