ANNOUNCEMENT OF ANNUAL MEETING LEARN MORE HERENow until July 31st we will be collecting school supplies to aid in the efforts of Project Backpack. Drop off is located at the front desk. Project Backpack, is a community-based initiative led by Elgin Community College to benefit students in need. Approximately 10,000 students have been helped since 2010!
Supplies will be distributed on Saturday, August 8, 2015, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (or until supplies are distributed), at ECC’s Spartan Events Center, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin, to students who provide proof of residency or school enrollment within Elgin Community College District 509.
We are collecting but not limited to:Folders (Two pocket, solid colors only ) Spiral Notebooks (one subject, wide ruled, solid colors only ) Packs of Loose Leaf/Filler Paper (150/200 count, wide ruled )
Packages of Pencils (10 count, standard #2, yellow wood )
Scissors (gender-neutral color )
Glue Sticks (0.21 oz.)
Rulers (wood or gender-neutral color )
Packs of crayons (24 ct./Crayola preferred)
